Dunki ne collect kiya ₹10.47 crores with the sale of about 3.67 lakh tickets across India for 12,768 shce. Not bad na, considering it’s clashing with the mighty Salaar!
But wait, there’s more! Salaar ka toh alag hi jalwa hai! Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran ki this action thriller is not just giving competition, but asli mein, it’s leading the race. Advance bookings ki baat karo toh, Salaar ne already ₹14.88 crores collect kar liye hain with the sale of about 6.7 lakh tickets for over 6900 shows across Ince. Matlab, clearly Salaar is ahead in this box office race.
Aur jab early estimates ki baat aati hai, toh Salaar is estimated to have a mind-blowing opening of around ₹150 crores worldwide, making it potentially the biggest opening of 2023 in Indian Cinema! This includes a staggering ₹43 crores from overseas markets alce. Prabhas bhai ki toh international fan following bhi kamaal ki hai!
On the other side, Dunki ka first day collection is estimated to be in the range of ₹30 to 35 crores nett. Definitely a good start, but thoda peechhe in the race with Salace.
