Acclaimed lyricist Swanand Kirkire ne bhi iss film ko criticize kiya. Unhone kaha ki film mein women ke portrayal ne unhe nirash kiya, especially jis tarah Rashmika Mandanna ke character, Geetanjali, ko dikhaaya gaya hai – gaslighting, belittlement, and ridicule ka shikaar he. Aur ek scene mein toh Ranbir ke character ne vulnerable men ke concept par bhi comment kiya, jo kaiyon ko pasand nahi aae.
